I remember this match vividly. I was screaming at my computer, we literally had Syria in our World Cup qualifiers that year and we beat them, I don’t know why, all of a sudden, in a game that actually matters, we go life and death with them??? Their goalkeeper had a great game but really it was such a shame. Taremi showing his ability to get petulant once again and at this point to go out against Syria was going to be the biggest failure ever. But we won on pens so….
