As an Egyptian, I feel incredibly sad watching Mohamed Salah's last match. I can't believe it. He's my legend and my number one hero. I can't imagine the English Premier League without him. I feel so proud that he's Egyptian I feel proud to have witnessed his entire career. The best player in the history of the English league, not just Liverpool. Last season he single-handedly brought the league title to Liverpool. He doesn't deserve what you're doing, Slot I wish Salah all the best at his next club and I will be one of his biggest fans❤️❤️❤️

mo, you're the sole reason why i love the sport the way i do. i watched games here and there growing up, but as soon as you joined the club you made me fall in love with football. i've watched every single second of you in a liverpool shirt and i'd do it all over again if i had the chance. the happiest moments as a liverpool fan have been because of you and i'll never forget all you've done for this beautiful club. anyone who supports the club knows that you deserved way more recognition from the world, and i'd hope anyone who has watched you play over the years can see that too. for whatever reasons, some known and some not, there are some things that have been just out of reach. none of that could ever cast a shadow on the stunning career you've had as a red and i for one am so unbelievably proud to have been able to watch you represent the club of my heart. i'll miss you more than words can explain and it will never be the same without you. no player comes close. thank you, king👑❤️

I hate Liverpool a lot and I don't like Salah as a person, but I have to admit that Salah is one of the best players in the history of the English Premier League and his absence will have a big impact, and I really do have some feelings about this.

The End. End of the season, thank God. But also the end of an era. Robbo and Mo weren’t the first to leave and won’t be the last, but this feels like the break - the next Liverpool team will be something new, not an evolution of the force of nature we’ve grown used to since 2015. This expensively, exquisitely assembled squad has been stripped of any identity or belief, reduced to playing for moments and not getting enough of them to go our way. No one’s having fun anymore, including the manager. The only plan seems to be to run less, which is good because not one of the players can be arsed to do it anymore. Slot’s going to be sacked. It’s inevitable on this evidence. The only questions are how long it takes and how much more damage he does to this club before he does. Mo and Robbo were standard bearers for this club’s identity. Heart, desire, talent. They had it all. They leave a club that doesn’t look like it has any of it anymore. The beginning? It is now - but of what?
