Arsenal’s Road to Budapest Kairat gave Arsenal problems late, but Arsenal had already scored three times before the break through Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Martinelli. Kairat scored twice in response, though not enough to level Arsenal. The Gunners finish the league phase with eight wins from eight.

If I'm being nitpicky, we could've done a lot better on both sides of the pitch. We shouldn't have conceded two and we probably should've scored twice as many... I'm not exaggerating when I say this could've been 6 or 7-0. I can't remember the last time we created 10 (!) big chances and 59 (!) touches in the box. Gyokeres should've had a hattrick (I blame my Fantasy CL juju for that), Martinelli could've had more than one, Jesus has a goal ruled out... But enough with the what-ifs and maybes, this was an amazing match for a dead-rubber. We saw Havertz back in midfield in his first start back from injury and he was a joy to watch (would've been my MOTM if not for his precautionary substitution), White and Mosquera were good, Nørgaard was comfortable and Gyokeres looked like a man possessed. Good to see some debuts from a couple of youngsters, too. 8/8 in Europe is beyond any of my wildest dreams.
