It’s a great start to preseason. Both of our academy’s Reggies have put in some absolutely brilliant shifts this morning, and I’d be remiss not to mention the brilliant finish from Satpayev. In defence, we certainly could have done better, but I’m not gonna complain too much. JP off the bench nabbed a hat trick in a half hour, Cole Palmer feeding him a brilliant assist in there. Gittens deserves some credit as well. He’s already got 2 (3?) from the closed doors matches, and he’s done very well again here. The state of the pitch was God awful, and there were moments for both sides where you could tell. Still, no injuries and a nice Chelsea win.

Surprisingly good intensity for a pre-season game. Tosin and Delap found their level with the U18s, good to see la Cobham get a runout Would love to see both Reggie’s get minutes this season

First half was frustrating to watch, once the starters subbed on, it became a much more entertaining game. If Delap can do nothing against this caliber of team, how is he supposed to do anything in the Prem, needs to be sold for nothing. Gittens looked good, want to see him against Spurs and see how he does against a higher quality squad. After all the training hype of Emenalo, I didn’t see anything that impressed me and was mostly let down by his effort and quality. BRING ON SPURS!!!
