Washington played a really strong, really physical game, while the Thorns mostly relied on set pieces to create opportunities to score. They really couldn’t compare to the momentum of the Spirit this game, but overall a good watch. Rodman remained threatening throughout with a really solid assist, and the Spirit’s keeper made sure to shut down most of Portland’s major opportunities.

tbh what i expected. spirit is a fast paced team, thorns sat back and absorbed well. careful in their opportunities but mostly advanced on set pieces… a bit of a controversial handball but all in all a fun game to watch !!
