An undeserving defeat. We played so well, I genuinely haven't seen us play this well live in a long time, it is a shame the result doesn't reflect that. With such a young squad I knew we would lack experience and the two first goals were conceded purely because of that. We desperately need a well seasoned centre back. MOTM is Frederiksen for sure, he was literally everywhere on the field and delivered two goals. I was afraid towards the end he would collapse on the pitch because he could barely stand :/ The atmosphere was amazing and I was glad the stands were so supportive of the boys despite having so much skepticism ahead of this season. A lot to build on and work towards, we have a tough schedule ahead and a win here would've given us a lot of confidence but oh well. Proud of everyone on the pitch, FORZA ISTRA SEMPRE 💚💛

I really thought Istra would win here
