Went into this match thinking Cruz Azul would win this comfortably. I was wrong once again and instead Atlante pulled off a masterclass and beat Cruz Azul. Not much happened in the first half apart from an Atlante goal, but that second half was incredible. Cant give Jhojan Julio the mvp since the Atlante players don’t show up for the player of the match vote. 😭😭

definitely a massive surprise lmao Atlante pulled up and were better than Cruz Azul, the reigning champions and who just beat Toluca in the Super Cup equivalent, and a team that's probably massive favorites to be in contention for the title again, keep in mind Cruz Azul got a penalty (saved) and probably more time added on than necessary, but it wasn't enough to beat el Piojo Herrera
