Absolute dominance from Ireland. Katie and Denise didn’t even play and they definitely didn’t need to. Kazakhstan looked rattled the moment the match started.

Great game from an Irish POV but just a depressing watch otherwise, Kazakh keeper had an awful game to top it off breaking her arm and getting taken off in the 39th minute, dubious red card for the Kazakh defender but that's with hindsight that Kazakhstan didn't really have a proper chance even with 11 people but that red card absolutely solidified this becoming a proper depressing seal clubbing. The only Kazakh player that showed a small bit of quality was the #10 Bibossynova who did her best to hold the ball up but realistically she never had a chance to do anything without any support from her teammates. Murphy,Carusa and Larkin were brilliant as per usual but with a pinch of salt that this Kazakh defense was just not it. Mustaki was brilliant, amazing through balls and crosses deffo deserving player of the match. Home tie in cork on tuesday will probably just be a bit of craic with fringe players but I hope this win doesn't make us too complacent against (what will most likely be) Belgium next month ps lineup on bookd is seriously seriously wrong lmao
