Reigning champions Arsenal welcome Chelsea to the Emirates with both sides looking to make it three Premier League wins from three matches. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have picked up where they left off last season, winning their opening two league matches without conceding. Arsenal have allowed just one shot on target so far and are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League meetings with Chelsea. Bukayo Saka has also made a strong start, finding the net in both of Arsenal’s victories. Kai Havertz, meanwhile, has enjoyed facing his former club, scoring three times in his last three home league appearances against the Blues. Chelsea have taken a more attacking route to six points, scoring seven goals in their opening two matches. The Blues’ “JP Morgan” attack has been particularly effective, with João Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers all making early contributions. João Pedro has two goals and two assists, while Palmer has also found the net twice. Recent history favours the hosts, with Chelsea’s last Premier League victory at the Emirates coming in 2021. But with the Blues among the league’s early scoring leaders and Arsenal yet to concede, the match will be a test of two perfect starts.

Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea was played on matchday 3 of Premier League 2026/27. Arsenal sit 2nd in the table, while Chelsea sit 10th.
