the team was a lot more vertical (or horizontal at its worst, which didn't happen much) than they were during michel's last few months which was an automatic improvement. hopefully by september the squad is fully figured out and everyone is willing to play the same way arnau and alex were playing despite having a foot and a half out the door already. also hope the forwards figure out how to shoot so they can learn how to score! maybe it was him showing off to get sold, maybe it wasn't, but asprilla was a breath of fresh air when he came on in the second half when leganes were showing far more threat than the first half. he was shooting and putting in more crosses than the whole team did in the entire time he wasn't playing. also, Thank You, Abel Ruiz. kinda ironic that two of the guys the fanbase hates the most were the ones to save us from losing our very first match in segunda. minsu was very good but they worked tf out of him since they were mostly attacking from the left side. dawda couldn't show much because they wouldn't pass to him Ever for some reason, i remember the moment he started drifting to the left to at least have the ball but then the middle was empty because no one was in there. holmes junior was solid, hope quique counts on him. jastin didn't have many minutes but he's playing for the badge and i love him for that. gazzaniga is dreadful. at least he's not costing us dumb reds like the beginning of last season but his positioning the entire match was stupid. thank god quique isn't playing haramball so he didn't have the ball too long. regardless, som-hi equip, som-hi aficio, som-hi montilivi, endavant girona! ❤️s
