when your goats are most certainly NOT WASHED!!!! they let sporting gijon have too much possession for comfort throughout the match, but thankfully the entire backline was on their best behavior, even a washed gazzaniga was fixing some mistakes he would've made in the last 3 matches. all asprilla needed to become a better player was less presure, now that it's been a few (2?) years since the club bought him for a higher price (that had nothing to do with him) and took the #10 away from him he's been performing so much better. whether he stays or not by the end of the season i hope he keeps the momentum until the very end. idk what they're feeding the players but they need to change it because half the team looked gassed by the 70th minute and this wasn't the most physically demanding match we've had so far. junior is very young so he still has time to learn how to manage his temper but that whole thing with otero the whole match could've cost him at least one yellow with a different ref. on the other hand, he seems to be a lot more willing to fight for the badge both literally and figuratively than half the squad, so for that i will defend his rights and his wrongs. feel bad for alex moreno because he didn't get to go back to rayo allegedly due to the board's shenanigans but he's a very good player and he could give us so many happy moments so for that i am grateful 🤍 overall a very good match. wasn't feeling as nervous as girona usually made me feel last season. -1 star because i was jealous when the players went to celebrate the goal with the fans because i wasn't there and they never get too close to my usual side at montilivi when they play at home 💔 +0.5 because girona somehow managed to sign a player i started liking one random tuesday a few years ago (mumin)
