honestly you could’ve just watched the first half and missed absolutely nothing. thank you villarreal for not knowing the concept of onside bc then this would’ve been like 3-2. sacrificed a goalless second half for half of my mutuals and i’s +3 points. 🙏🙏🙏 (ojo con el betis gimmick starts now)

Good win on the road for Betis, on the other hand though, really bad result for Villarreal who look in real danger this season My MOTM would be Cucho Hernandez, obviously with his goal and overall positive play. Natan was close to me with his goal but I honestly didn’t think he had too much to do defensively Valles and Gulasci were both spectacular today, I honestly preferred Gulasci who made a number of great saves. It’s a shame he conceded 2 The Villarreal defense was awful today. Navarro looked lost and Mourino was constantly getting beat. Renato Veiga had an alright game (grabbed an assist) but definitely not a good one Deossa made a real impact of the bench, looked sharp and had/made a number of chances Gerard Moreno was class before Betis scored but after they took the lead he didn’t contribute much, had to come off early due to his age too Disappointing game from Pepe too, normally such an electric player but was average today, Fran completely won the battle and was solid this game Ezzalzouli looked sharp coming back from injury, made it past two to set up Cucho’s goal (iirc) and overall positive play Fornals, Bartra and Antony all had good games too Villarreal really need to get their act together, they have talented players and a good squad on paper but just haven’t been able to translate that into results
