i went into this match expecting us to do at least something. instead we did NOTHING. mainz completely owned us from the first minute. our offense was as dangerous as a fruitfly and don't even get me started on this defense. NONE of those players have bundesliga quality. this was an embarrassment. i know it takes time for these players to get used to each other as most of them just joined the team but losing this badly and performing like you've never seen a football in your life is just crazy fucking work to me. overall, we NEED to learn from our mistakes and do better. at least try to do something in leipzig next week.

A true massacre. Mainz completely dominated and Hamburg barely managed to compete. There were many goals, but the game lacked balance and excitement to make it interesting.
