hey! schalke has forwards! another karius masterclass even if they did end up conceding, defense was also top notch.

- Simply not good enough from a Union perspective - Defensively poor all night and very lucky Rønnow is as good as he is - failed to create much at all in the first half - Second half Union created a lot more after the second Schalke goal and they sat off but failed to be clinical with Karius making some big saves - as for Schalke it was a good strike from gosens and aouchiche took his goal well. - Skarke pulled one back and then wober wrapped it up on the counter - Union need to be so much better if they want to have a good season.

Very impressed with Schalke’s performance this will surely bring lots of confidence. They might not get relegated after all if they keep going like this, they even kept out Bayern from scoring in the previous matchday.

Holy moly man. Schalke what type of stuff did we just pull out man. Like 0-0 at bayern then we pull out a 3-1 win over Union. I gotta say i’m super impressed with this match. Amazing match for Schalke.

mostly a slow match which was expected but it got really really crazy at the ending with union almost coming back and then schalke scored that BEAUTIFUL last minute to put all those hopes for union away. even though schalke had less ball possession, they still did most with it and even won! i can see schalke definitely succeeding with this in future games. union berlin meanwhile.. i don't see anything good this season. serious relegation contenders, which is sad because union is a nice club that does belong in the bundesliga. FIRST WIN BACK terrific first half and played our way to a 2-0 lead. but dropped too deep in my opinion and allowed union to gain momentum, even scored a goal to create a stressful last 10. some terrifice football played nonetheless and some great goals on our behalf. gosens great volley against former club, adil’ stunner just onside in the end & maxi finishing up a great counter to seal all the points.

At 2-0 I was gaslight into believing I could choose a forward as motm but then Karius actually had to save shots and when he does it's instant motm. despite the mistake defense was top. huge shouts to gosens and hwang debut with an assist 💙🤍
