Not a horrible game but quite forgettable tbh. Köln was the much better team in the first half, especially in those first 20 minutes which included a missed penalty and Maina’s goal. After that goal, Köln was looking for the second one and had some good chances, while Bremen sat deep waiting for fast counterattacks. Quite an entertaining first half. The second half was much worse tho, it was like a different game of football. Köln created no chances and Bremen equalized with Niclas Füllkrug (Bremen’s most important player). Afterwards it was a game with a lot of intense duels but no goal scoring opportunities for both teams. To sum up, a game with an entertaining first half and a very boring second half, at the end of the day both teams deserved one point here.

as i've only seen the second half, i can only really rate that. from what it seems like, this draw was deserved as both weren't good or bad. and of course füllkrug carried bremen like usual, it's not even surprising anymore. overall a slow match which did feel like a mid off 😭

Koln should have been 2-0 up by the end of the first half and paid for their indecisiveness. Bremen came out looking rejuvenated and got their well deserved goal through no other but King Fullkrug. Koln could be dissapointed but both sides can take a few positives from this. WELCOME BACK WEISER!
