This was a very good match with lots of intensity. I really the matches had been swapped around so that this was first match so that my fellow Bookd friends who went to sleep could’ve watched and enjoyed it. 😭😭 We went down 1-0 from a shot/cross type of goal from Diego Rossi down the right wing. We then equalized it with a goal from Ramon Juarez and then took the lead 7 minutes later from a banger of a shot right outside the box. Then comes questionable decision of giving Monterrey a penalty. Orbelin Pineda dives without there being any contact between him and Kevin Alvarez. Not sure how it wasn’t looked at and disallowed but it is what it is. I thought Violante, Veiga, Cervantes, Juarez and Reyes were good today but the rest…. Cota - I think he could’ve done a better job on the first goal but one thing is for sure and it’s that he’s absolutely terrible on penalties. Didn’t even guess a single one right. I even had @jup asking me if he even tries. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Cristian Borja - Bro cannot defend and was nowhere to be seen when Rossi takes the shot for the first goal. Kevin Alvarez - Let’s keep it short, he’s shit and I’m tired of him. Reminds me of that “What does he even do?” meme. 😭 Erick Sanchez - He’s just not good enough to be our starter. Although it did lead to a goal, our second goal literally starts off from him making a pass to NOBODY. 😭 Brain Rodriguez - 👻 Henry Martin - The guy is washed and we need Miguel Borja so start playing soon. Would’ve been nice to win this tournament but it is what it is. Definitely would’ve crashed out if this was the Concacaf Champions Cup or the league playoffs. Leon vs Club America 3rd place game is the real final btw.

This was great. America and Rayados really delivered and brought the intensity that a Semi-Final deserves. 2-2 in regular time and then some great penalties(besides one) I’m absolutely tired, but I’m glad I stayed up for this.

it’s 2am but i’m honestly really glad i stayed up for this. hate when the first half ended because things we’re just starting to get somewhere. fortunately then there was really good stuff in the second half leaving them tied and into pens. kinda crazy there was no VAR check which led to the rayados’ second goal but that is #not my business.
