This game is one of those games that I will simply never forget, it was so special to me. As a Dortmund fan, I was incredibly lucky. Dortmund playing against Hertha in Berlin (where I live) ON MY BIRTHDAY, what are the odds? And it was the best birthday gift ever, insane atmosphere, an extremely entertaining football game that started off pretty bad with Hertha taking the lead twice, but we managed to equalise. After that, it was one goal scoring opportunity after another, but the ball just couldn’t find the net, until the 94th minute came around. Marco Reus, my favorite player of all time scores the winner with the last shot of the game and celebrates literally right in front of me in the stadium, it was so crazy, I couldn’t believe it. It was like the gods from above just wanted this game to be absolutely perfect for me: The team that I support playing in the city where I live on my birthday and my favorite player celebrating right in front of me after a last minute winner to get us first place, you can not make this up. I will NEVER forget this. Best birthday of my life
