The difference between us as a team in qualifying versus at an international tournament is absolutely mortifying. Steve Clarke has been slowly but surely poisoning our national team for years now with baffling decisions, god awful call-ups & such an unbelievable lack of any tactical creativity. Brazil looked good, but nowhere near the levels you’d expect of them, we’re just so utterly pointless as a team that it makes no difference whether we get out the groups or not, it’s just papering over the cracks to give the SFA an excuse to keep Clarke in the job. 1 goal, 4 conceded in a group we should’ve earned at least 4 points from is a disgrace. All the fans who flew out, giving us & our country the breath of fresh air it’s needed internationally has all been for nothing.
