Had to drop my thoughts about this wonderful, competitive match. Ignore my previous review... Incredible performances from both teams, offensively and defensively going back and forth, with Doué and Lukebakio having some flashy moments to score. Can't write this review without mentioning Roméo Lavia delivering a beautiful performance on the pitch! Oh Roméo, Roméo, wat ben je geweldig! He was everywhere winning possesions, going for tackles and also delivering a 100% pass accuracy! What a dream start for Roméo on his first starting position for the national team! Also Camavinga delivering a similar performance like Lavia. This is the first time after a long time where I've seen him play like his old self. Well done! Mika Godts didn't score this match but he did well for the team going for dribbles, key passes and dispossesions. High hopes for you Mika! The French backline was something else tonight. They had a task to complete and they delivered in what a way. Even though there were chances where Belgium could've scored easily but still they were very solid. Feeling sad for Lammens honestly. He made some great saves tonight but eventually got let down by a great run and finish from Olise. Can't even hate on that goal, what a beauty! I feel like both teams should be proud of what they have achieved with both new managers tonight. The future is bright for both van Bommel and Zizou on international level!
