one of the best matches ever!! i had gone into this match thinking that bayern would beat us by at least 5 or 6 goals like usual, as that even happened in the match a few months prior to this one. however, when the match started, i was immediately disproven. defensively, we were very strong. and then we got the penalty around the 30th minute and with vieira's clinical finishing, we were actually leading! bayern did come back eventually with kane scoring just 10 minutes later and then right after the half time break luis diaz scoring to give bayern the lead. at that point, i thought it was gonna be over for us but we were surprisingly very resilient. then, just a few minutes later, we scored again and it was a 2-2 now thanks to that beautiful header from luka vuskovic. we even had a chance to take the lead again in the 74th minute but alphonso davies was just too quick and cleared the ball away right before it got in. over the last few minutes, we were still as resilient as in the rest of the match and no matter what bayern did, they couldn't score on us again. will forever remember this day as i never thought we could keep up with bayern throughout the whole match. and it was very easy to ragebait my bayern friends on that day 😭
