what is up with eliminated teams playing with more gumption than teams who actually need to play to get a spot on the bracket…I hate this new h2h rule. feels like a lot of teams who are still in play aren’t trying as hard prior to the rule. props to turkiye for getting some goals in and getting 3 points from it. doesn’t matter much but maybe it’ll hurt less for them and their fans on the way home. granted, this was against usa’s B team so who knows if would’ve been different. Crazy to think about usa having an upper hand over a euro team.
