Another game Man United have failed to win. Time is surely running out for Michael Carrick despite the improvement today. They looked good going forward on the counter attack first half and deserved the lead but started sluggish in the second and conceded another scrappy goal. Carrick looks out of his depth tactically. Injuries aren’t helping them but as I pointed out in the live discussion, they played the second half with a RB at CB, and CB at RB. I don’t think he’s the right man for the job. That said, I hope he keeps his job until at least October 31 when Chelsea play them. Not Leeds best performance of the season today but probably one of Man United’s, which goes to show the difference between the two this season.
