i might be nostalgia blind, but i remember watching this match and being able to witness de jong play for the first time, i was 8. i found him so cool and i can’t forgot the feeling of seeing him eating madrid’s butt. (cool fun fact i was able to see his welcoming ceremony in person at barca on my 9th birthday. best gift ever)
