Turkish friend does not drink alcoholic beverages so Lazizas it is. I do not know what to think of this Turkish side and them having to rely on the upcoming generation. Almiron being the first player to be banished for covering his mouth and muttering something shocked the hell out of me. Some might think it’s too harsh or say there’s no way to know what was truly said, however, while both of those things can be true a separate reality can exist as well - one where the Turkish player is insulted and abused for creed, race, nationality, religious beliefs, sexuality or any other way that a person may be abused, judged, ridiculed or mocked for. No place for it in the beautiful game for me and I believe this new rule is a great way to establish that none of this nonsense will continue. Turkey not being able to pull through after Paraguay being reduced to 10 is something I can’t quite wrap my head around.
