The offside was a factual decision guys, I’m sorry, it’s cut and dry. Croatian player touches the ball, which is confirmed by the sensor. It glances off Veiga, which is an unintentional play of the ball, meaning it does NOT play Pasalic onside, he remains offside as Veiga didn’t intentional play the ball backward. Heartbreaking, but these fine margins will always exist in competitive sport. Every rule must be clearly dictated down to the millimeter, and occasionally it will be very tight.
@emanuel I take it back. I didn’t see the angle from behind the goal. I can’t accept that the sensor is THAT sensitive, not without some demonstrable proof. The graphic I saw on my stream also didn’t line up with that kind of sensitivity. Croatia robbed.
