Liverpool
Man CityThis is the legacy City will leave in the game. Not the trophies, not the goals, but a project of industrial cheating for the sake of sportswashing. Losing this game bothers me not because of the result, but because it won’t mean anything. Losing is a part of the game. I’d rather lose like this than win by cheating. Because otherwise, what’s the point? If you can cook books and buy your titles, then why even waste more than 3500 minutes a season on what you know isn’t real? In many ways, this game was the symbol of the modern City era. Incredibly intelligent, intense, and skillful football, that was undermined by an unfair advantage. That was never a red. Gravenberch shouldn’t have gone in, but that was such a terrible call and just casts more of a shadow on this league, and on that club. Overall, pretty proud of the team before the red. They were brave, and even though they kept making mistakes, they kept trying. Gravenberch absolutely bossed Anderson and Enzo for the first hour. I thought Semenyo and O’Reilly were the standouts for City, just top top athletes. For us, VVD and Jacquet had another good game, and I thought Gravenberch and Macca did well. The attack again went missing, and that’ll have to change against Brentford. We’re missing three starters, so add that to the final notes. The concerning thing is how Iraola reacted to a man down. Park the bus and settle for the draw. At this stage in your managerial career, you have to be humble and realize when to settle to not lose. Excited for Europe, the English game is basically meaningless at this point. Enjoy the Emirati titles, Brexiteers. #scousenotenglish

Realest and one of the best review to come out of this match
look the excuses are there i get it. But ngl this match the refereeing wasnt bad. I really think that gravenberch shouldnt have gone in for that tackle 😔. NONTHELESS i agree with all the other things u said
@robertsonlover26 I think he was affected by the benching, weird to play him now when you’ve been playing Trey
That was a red, and football is won on the pitch.
@debrandon17 On the pitch with the players you got fraudulently.
@debrandon17 yet ur win was unfair in the past 8 years or so!
@debrandon17 yh m8 whatever, you’re free to do what you want, I just don’t see the point of loving something you know is fake and unfairly obtained
@kop stop arguing domino effect, none of the players there rn have been proved to be obtained unfairly
@rafadinhoforlahm Cause the love is beyond the team 🤷♂️
@debrandon17 This is literally the worst argument I’ve ever heard. Let me make it simple for you. You don’t cheat you don’t become a big club, you don’t become a big club none of your current players ever pick man city. Literally domino effect is all that this is. Additionally who knows what else you have been up to behind the scenes, I promise you it has more effect than just these charges.
@kop I am giving the most principal argument in this, nothing more nothing less 🤷♂️😹
@debrandon17 if you loved City before the cheating then that just make it worse, they literally broke your trust, but idk, you’re free to spend your time as you wish
the more i see about how the UAE threatens the UK on how it could freeze investments depending on the punishment the more it makes me ill exactly why state-backed clubs should be barred. football will always be political. this is just an example of why
@tligoat m8 and we are part of the problem, us and United fans cheering for City just so our rivals wouldn’t win the title - it came at the cost of now it all feeling meaningless, and for what - Twitter likes?
