Another game of pure magic from Argentina. 2-0 down late in the match, but nothing is impossible for this team. Up until the Romero header, Argentina were miles off it and not getting anything to come off right. Messi wasn’t on his game and the rest of the team were bystanders. Late in the match, Argentina really turned it on and showed their muscles. A Romero header, Messi goal, and an Enzo winner sees them top Egypt in a stunning affair. Salah did look lively at times and produced some good moments. I do feel Egypt were hard done in this one, but ultimately they didn’t have enough to finish the job. Once again, a magical win for Messi and Argentina as they advance from a fantastic match.
