Why was this on primetime and not Man United Leeds? Okay game, boring again, at this point I’m wondering if it’s Arsenal’s game plan or teams just set up to make the game boring. I think teams would do better if they just made it a basketball game. Arsenal showed again they lack the wingers for end to end football, and are comfortable in a low risk game state. Konsa outshone Gabriel for me here, it will be very hard for Saliba and him to rotate the bench role. Raya was again, excellent, and I thought the Rice and Bruno G pairing was a modern EPL dream. Glasner is worrying me with how stiff his team looks. At Palace he had Wharton and Guehi to simplify his buildup, here he lost Anderson and MGW so Forest look rather blunt. When Neco Williams is your most creative force, I think the manager has to be a little bit braver. Try two strikers up top. Try…well, that’s about it. Looked at the Forest squad and got queasy. Curtis Jones Bergvall would’ve made this a real team. Eze should go to Forest actually. Eze Bakwa swap, why not. I’m tired of seeing him underperform while the rest of the Arsenal players are scrapping away. Gyok is a funny funny concept. Not even a player at this point. In another life, Arteta gets Sesko and Amorim gets his big Gyok. The more I log, the more upset I get at these two squads. Berta and Edu, both destroyers of the sport.

saw a breakdown online, despite our improvements in attack from last season (we look more fluid in certain moments, have more open play xg per game, stuff like that) since we’re stinkin it up in the setpieces rn we’re struggling to find the goal that changes the deadlock/gamestate. against us teams like forest are happy to sit back and grind out a point, but if they’re down one they’ll be more open which allows us to break down their block easier. that 5-4-1 from forest today was deadly
@rafadinhoforlahm eze needs to stop playing like it’s gw38 and we’ve won the league, it’s gotten to the point where madueke looks to be replacing him on left wing based on the effort he applies, can’t comment on gyokeres but i think it’s been like 13 matches since he last scored? dark. i do think sesko would’ve fit better with the system we have now but berta is incompetent. hope we can buy an attacker with pace that can create/finish chances in january (0.1% chance)
didn’t watch so i’m going based off leeds/last season. on your first point i think it’s a bit of both? we like passing around till we see an opening and teams sit in a mid-low block till they finally get possession instead of trying to score a lot. your point about wingers is one i’ve brought up before. saka is moving more like an inside forward and eze doesn’t want to play out wide as he’s an AM so we do awful on transition. fuck it why not get bakwa atp 😭 we have enough 10s already
