You ever watch a game and you end up astonished by how bad your team is playing? Like it’s not even anger anymore, just a sense of defeat, you just can’t help but laugh. This is what tonight’s game was to me. I’ve been watching Tigres for the longest and there have been some rough times, but even in the late Tuca Ferretti seasons there was a sense of hope. The team had the quality, but just completed the cycle with the coach and it was understandable when he was eventually asked to move aside. This Tigres today however, is a complete embarrassment. You look at the XI and on paper it’s not a bad team, some mid-table(usual) teams would kill to have some of these players in the squad, but when you hear the whistle and the game starts everything is put into perspective. This team lacks heart, will-power, basic tactics and most importantly, quality! It’s amazing how hard a player like Juan Brunetta can carry this team and yet is dragged down by how bad the rest of his teammates are, it’s impressive that he can create something with so little to help him. Tonight we lost against a team that was getting their butts handed to them by every team, even one of the worst teams in the last 5 years- Santos Laguna beat this JUAREZ team. As a Tigres fan you could only breathe a small sigh of relief and think this is where we pick up.. well to our surprise we get a good slap back to reality and end up losing 2-0. Top to bottom this team stinks and it stinks bad, the smell almost comes out of the TV while watching it. Now who’s to blame? The owners, the board of directors, the coach, everyone! These idiots will literally give a press conference and lie to their fans and say the Financial Situation of the club is great! They say they won’t buy just to buy! They say they will look for quality, for a good coach and what do we get? Relegation type players, who are washed or simply can’t carry a team if their lives depended on it.
