I was rooting for France, but god, what a FUUUUUUCKING GOOOOOD MATCH!!!!! had to rewatch it because when I started watching right before halftime I was SHOCKED at the score. The absolute tension in that stadium when it was 4-5 in the last couple of minutes was genuinely a physical reaction. Mbappe - what a guy. What a goddamn good player. Watching his desperation/determination at the end was devastating, I could FEEL how badly he wanted to help his team. The England players were in rare excellent form, such a good form and such a great amount of goals and possession that it made me wonder why they can’t play like this all of the time. Bellingham and Mbappe are truly tied for POTG, but truly have to give it to Jude because holy shit
