I don’t understand the reason for this strange setup today. Was Maresca confused about whether to play Khusanov, Guehi, Gvardiol, or captain Dias at center_back , so he decided to play all four of them, with Guehi as a No. 8, O’Reilly as a playmaker, and relying on Foden and Semenyo’s individual brilliance? All of this is ridiculous and not starting Cherki after that would be a disastrous decision.
