Weird having a game that we lost in the top 3, I know. But it is the game that made me fall in love with Borussia Dortmund and with football in general. After this match I just wanted to know everything about the club and I was just so obsessed that I couldn't help but watch most of the matches together with my father, who has been a fan since the 80's. I wasn’t really interested in football until I was 8 years old, which is when my father brought me to this game, and I will never forget how special it was. This was my first time ever in a stadium and I was so incredibly overwhelmed with how big everything seemed to be, then the atmosphere was just so great and something I never experienced before, even though it was just the German Supercup. I remember the game itself being quite entertaining as well, with Aubameyang scoring a wonderful goal for the 2-1 lead, and even though we lost on penalties after a 2-2 draw, this is one game I will never forget and I will always be grateful for it because it made me fall in love with the sport I now love so much and talk about everyday and it made me fall in love with the team I’ve been supporting for almost a decade now 🥹.
