For a match as big in Scottish football as the Edinburgh derby, Hibs and Hearts certainly delivered in football quality. Hearts got the first two in the first half, and looked clearly ahead. Although, Hibs still played well in the half; they just failed to put away their chances in the end. Hibs scored a cracker in the second half to cut the game alive again, and they really looked like they could get back in it. Ultimately, going down to 10 men put away any chance they had left and Hearts sealed the win with a dagger of a third goal. Hibs could argue they had a goal wrongfully disallowed and, regardless of if I agree or not, I think it would not have affected the result regardless as Hearts were just that good. I think this win is a statement for them and puts them back as Celtic's main title challengers again this season.
