I don’t really know what to think of this game. The first half was great, and I mean really great. They pressed really well and in general I saw very good and fast passing, with Konstantelias and Karetsas creating quite literally all our chances. These two were so incredibly good together, it was a joy to watch. In the first half Konstantelias even scored his first goal, so in this first half there was quite literally nothing to complain about. Then the second half starts, and it’s like Niko Kovac told the players to stop playing football, it was all so slow with very sloppy passes and almost no chances created, and Konstantelias injury made it even worse (I hope it’s nothing serious). Inacio was subbed on and got a red card just a few minutes later, and instead of creating our own chances, Hamburg had some chances to score. I think a better team would’ve punished this sloppy playstyle, at the end of the day it was only Hamburg. Overall I’m happy with the result and this Greek duo that we have and I think Anton deserves a shoutout as well, but I’m really confused with how we played in the second half and I hope that it doesn’t look like this in our next game against Hoffenheim.
