For those of you who are not Mexican may not know but from 2020-2024 were in the TRENCHES. We had gotten knocked out in the group stage in back to back tournaments (the 2022 World Cup and 2024 Copa America) with one of our worst squads EVER. In both tournaments we were relying on a bunch of uncs and shit players because it was all we had😭. Players like Uriel Antuna, Nestor Araujo, Carlos Rodriguez and many more that i cannot think of off the top of my head 😭. Fun fact, in that game vs Czechia, we scored more goals than we did the entire 2022 World Cup AND 2024 Copa America COMBINED. Those times were dark for Mexico and it didn’t really seem like things would get better anytime soon with managers like Tata Martino or Diego Cocca. Jaime Lozano brought us some sort of hope until that Copa America performance. Now look at us, we’re in the RO16 after winning all of our games so far without conceding a single goal. Sure we might play England next and it may not end the way we want but what we’ve managed to accomplish this World Cup means so much to us after everything we’ve been through these last few years and nobody can take that away from us. 🇲🇽 VIVA MEXICO 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 RAAAAAHHHHHHHH😭😭😭🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
