The end of an era for the French. Didier is gone but with superstars like Mbappe and Olise will carry France on past this tournament. England: this game just made me feel angry. It shows we are a fantastic team, this tournament felt different and yet here we are at the third place game. Our attack was surprisingly good. Overall a successful tournament in my opinion, a semi-final and the best finish in the world cup since 1966, i’m excited for this generation of England. MOTM: it’s impossible to ignore a hattrick, Saka was great in this game. Makes you wonder why he couldn’t participate against Argentina.
