I have always been envious of Clairefontaine, but never more so than I am currently. France just have it figured out right now. Morocco really missed Ismael Saibari, and had he been able to start, it would surely have been a closer, more entertaining match, but I still can’t imagine they would have won. France just look nearly unstoppable right now.

The scary part is that Zlatan on TV is currently saying that France haven’t shown their full unleashed potential, and I think I’d tend to agree. The end of the MD1 slugfest with Senegal where they pulled out three quick goals to crush them felt like their peak so far. I think they still have more gears to turn in a game where the opposition actually looks like scoring, which Morocco didn’t often today.
@dgh11 it’s remarkable how comfortable they are playing to the opposition, so to speak. They seem to respond and react to what the opposition is giving them more than any other team, and sort of just sitting a level or two above the opposition at all times. They’re very adaptive and reflexive, and I agree, I think they can take it much higher than they’ve shown the last few games even.
