A very satisfying display after a professional — albeit wobbly — performance at the BayArena. The first half was very much dominated and in no small part thanks to the amazing ice-breaking strike from Eze. The second half was about protecting the lead and staying alive when we had the possibility to counter, both of which we did well. Rice rounded off the score with a peach-perfect side-footed effort right into the corner from the edge of the box, having intercepted on the halfway line and made an unstoppable darting central run. In fairness the whole front three behind Gyokeres had a fantastic match. Two quality goals, a great all-round performance and a clean sheet that was never really challenged until the 87'.
