Now that I've watched the 2 minute highlights (5 times), extended highlights (thrice) and the match (once), I think I'm more than equipped to give my thoughts on this match. As much as I'm loving the Lavia renaissance, Henderson-Caicedo seems to be the answer moving forward, until Barco (or a mystery winter midfield signing, Mr. Alex I'm looking at you 👀👀) is ready to take the mantle. We looked so much more stable with Henderson doing his best Lampard impression and Caicedo ensuring the defence doesn't have to deal with the BS we've been seeing before the international break. I don't think I need to mention the frontline. Best attacking trio of the league (Although, I'm scared of the stat that we're over performing our xG massively) and it isn't even close. Acheampong surely has cemented his place in the XI with another solid performance. He seems to have gotten over the "Will he, won't he start" period under M*resca and is showing why he is the best CB prospect in England rn. Happy for my boy Chavaria, who the critics doubted if he could start for a top team. His workrate and his assist for Pedro's 2nd was phenomenal. Him and Hato have that LWB position on lock. Let's get another win today. KTBFFH 💙
