I only caught the first half but wow what an off day. I don’t know if it was any different in the second half, but the front 3 seemed to be the only ones with their heads even slightly screwed on, and even then they were not at their best. I’ve been having an already sad and stressful day, going through some big change, and this is the first loss I’ve experienced as a full-time Arsenal fan. At first I was gutted but the overwhelming positivity and optimism I’ve seen from fellow fans online has made me feel better, not just about football but about everything in my life. I genuinely love these fans so much; they have been such a nice and welcoming community online since the day I went from just being someone who vaguely liked the team & was happy for their success to being a full blown fan. The only thing I’ve struggled with is how negative and pessimistic said fans have often seemed, but today, after a difficult loss, they were (mostly) anything but, and I could not be happier to be one of them. I do still love these players even though they were crap today so I look forward to seeing them represent their countries over the break, and seeing them all back together against Leeds. Who knows, this break might be just what they need
