Not a lot actually happened in this game up until Rangers got a penalty in the 65th minute, from there they scored and the game came alive for the last half hour. Aberdeen in particular were hard done by a soft foul that caused a Nisbet equaliser to be ruled out. Despite winning, Rangers still didn’t particularly look impressive to me, and I wonder if their spot in the top 2 of Scotland which they have held comfortably since being promoted back into the league a decade ago is falling away from them with Hearts in their old spot.
