I can’t believe this is happening. You were supposed to play forever, Leo. I witnessed your ups and downs, your 2016 retirement and all the what-ifs and almosts during the previous World Cups. Then, the legendary 2021-2024 run happened. Copa 2021, Finalissima, Qatar, and Copa 2024. Especially after winning that World Cup after years of waiting, years of hard work and sacrifices, I had never been happier. I only know football because of you, and that you define football. I don’t know what to do without you, Leo. I really hope this is all a dream.
