Welcome to the premier league Coventry city, a harsh reality opener for them Arsenal showing up exactly as what they are, the champions, tzolis looks like a very good signing and on top of that the entire Arsenal front line looked on fire tonight with Saka looking back to his best however one thing that remains with arsenal successful and not successful at times is the constant diving and going down at a feather of a touch just so annoying as a neutral to watch but every game has a little bit of that have to say as well at times Gabriel looked a bit shaky getting tight when there was no need too and getting shielded from the ball pretty easily and got caught out and received a yellow card for it. But for Coventry they’re gonna have to shift into gear quickly with how unforgiving this league is with Carl Rushworth learning that tonight too, that back line looks particularly narrow and struggled tonight when Arsenal showed width in their play and struggled with not following runners into the box. However in the second half they definitely looked brighter wether that was Arsenal stepping off the gas a little bit or showing up a little more taiwo Awoniyi certainly looked bright when he came on especially his hold up play it’s hard to judge this Coventry team when this will arguably be their hardest game of the season definitely got a big game ahead of them next week. In terms of the match wasn’t anything special one sided from a VERY good Arsenal team dominate performance from the champions which made it a little bit boring to end it off for me very hard decision for man of the match Odegaard looked brilliant out there tonight making Arsenal tick but ultimately I have to give it to Tzolis what a performance I hate to say it but he could be signing of the season man of the match tonight for me didn’t once stop causing trouble for Van Ewijk tonight would’ve been a perfect performance had he got his goal deserved man of the match tonight also helps the fpl too 🙏🫡
