Bumped up half a star for the spectacular if not pointless João Pedro overhead kick. Forest with an almost entirely rotated squad still managed to comfortably sweep aside a frankly unrecognisable Chelsea side from the one Maresca conducted to Club World Cup glory. Enzo hitting the back of the net instead of the post or Palmer converting his penalty changes the story of the match entirely, but it speaks volumes that the away side still produced more open play xG than the hosts. Forest were lethal on the counter and Chelsea were defensively unorganized, with both fullbacks at fault for the first two conceded. Good to see Jesse Derry get his first PL start, graduating from one of England's hottest academies right now (Mheuka, Kavuma-McQueen, Murray-Campbell and Walsh amongst others all look mighty promising). Unfortunately he wasn't all that impactful and sustained a hefty injury. Also good to see Awoniyi get back on his feet after a tough campaign, in just his second league start.
