This is it. The day I never wanted to see has arrived. Tonight, Messi officially says goodbye to the blue and white of Argentina. I never imagined I’d live long enough to watch the heroes of my childhood retire one by one… and now, the greatest of them all. The final boss. The last monster standing. The sun of Argentina will never shine the same again. Thank you, Messi. Thank you for everything. Thank you for every night, every moment, every memory. I will never forget that night in Lusail against the Netherlands. I was there. You gave me one of the happiest nights of my life, a memory I will carry with me forever. Gracias Leo. Messi 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
