From what I’ve heard I would’ve expected Liverpool to play much worse but I don’t think they were that bad. Gakpo looked great, being involved in most of Liverpool’s dangerous attacks, and I really liked Victor Muñoz for similar reasons, and he even scored that banger. I think the biggest problem in this team are the fullbacks. They are both not the best defenders and especially Frimpong plays very high up which opens up a lot of space for opponents, I think Ndoye did a great job in using those weaknesses. Overall I don’t see Liverpool as a bad team and I see the potential if they manage to improve those defensive weaknesses.
