Not a great performance from us, but it’s only a friendly after all and it was the first game we played in awhile so expected it to be rusty. Our academy lads performed better than the first team lads in my opinion, in the second half. Still, I think Zirkzee and Jack Fletcher did not play good at all, especially jack Fletcher showed why he’s not ready for the first team. Tyler Fletcher played better than him in the second half at all. Not happy about this but nothing to complain about, as it’s only a friendly. Hopefully we do well in the other friendlys as we missed lot of our key players for this friendly. Also hope Zirkzee steps up soon if he really wants to stay and be the backup striker. Wanted to give MOTM to Santos as he played well but couldn’t see him in the options so I’ll just give it to Heaven, who’s impressed this game.

Solid performances by some youngsters. A flat, uninspiring performance by everyone else. It was the first preseason game in front of a nearly empty stadium so I wouldn't worry too much. It's all about fitness, must improve in next game though.

not much to write home about tbh, senior players all performed at 50% for their half but the youngsters looked promising when they came on. impressed by andrey santos’ movement & mase did a decent job in an unfamiliar position as well. heaven could be huge for us this season.
