First of all, I want to thank all the players for showing brilliant football all game. Our first team players especially Zirkzee, who I didn’t expect much after that wrexham game, he played really, really great. Especially that goal, he absolutely took the defender and the goalkeeper’s ankles. But for the first goal, Lacey. What a talent he is. He controlled the ball so well and the finish was just brilliant. Hope he gets more chances in the new season. We played really good football, like i mentioned that goal was beautiful and he also assisted Lacey as well for the first goal. But I expected the performance to drop off a bit after our first team players got subbed, but man our youth players really impressed. They played great football and scored 3 more goals, all well created tap-in goals. Overall, it was a really good performance, after not much a good performance vs. wrexham. Overall, I really enjoyed watching the game and hopefully even when the season starts and all of our starters return, we play good football like this. Especially, Zirkzee. Hope he’s in good form when the season starts too. I sadly can’t give the MOTM because my phone only shows Rosenborg players (idk why) but I would like to give it to Zirkzee today. 21 is coming lads! 😂 GGMU! ❤️

Not a great performance from us, but it’s only a friendly after all and it was the first game we played in awhile so expected it to be rusty. Our academy lads performed better than the first team lads in my opinion, in the second half. Still, I think Zirkzee and Jack Fletcher did not play good at all, especially jack Fletcher showed why he’s not ready for the first team. Tyler Fletcher played better than him in the second half at all. Not happy about this but nothing to complain about, as it’s only a friendly. Hopefully we do well in the other friendlys as we missed lot of our key players for this friendly. Also hope Zirkzee steps up soon if he really wants to stay and be the backup striker. Wanted to give MOTM to Santos as he played well but couldn’t see him in the options so I’ll just give it to Heaven, who’s impressed this game.
