Il calcio è tornato 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 one of my favorite leagues, the league i loved as a kid, and the league that brings joy to life. I recently read someone who described Serie A as theater rather than football, and honestly i couldn’t agree more. It may not have the quality it once had, but boy is it still beautiful. Great start for Inter, took 6 minutes and we already got a banger from Çalhanoglu. After that Inter was poor for a bit though, allowing Monza to get an equalizer too. Inter picked it up in the second half and destroyed Monza, quite an easy win in the end. Andy Diouf played great with two assists. Esposito also scored a beauty, that kid has so much potential so im glad hes getting game time. Not really sure why Monza played attacking football tbh, but like i respect it i guess 😭. Fun stat Opta posted is that Only Clarence Seedorf (13) scored in more consecutive Serie A seasons than Zielinski (12), together with Cuadrado, Ilicic, Liedholm, and Vecino. For me Diouf is clear man of the match.
Inter
Great result considering Inter decided to become shaky at the end of the first half. Calhanoglu with his usual absolute screamer to get everyone off their seats. Of course Monza only score when I jinx it in chat 😭 Thought most players were solid but Andy Diouf was excellent. Hopefully Chivu can prove me wrong and have another Scudetto winning season, as I predicted us to fall off this season. FORZA INTER (@toni for some reason I can't select an Inter MOTM)
Could not follow much of this match because of work but so proud of the boys! It is so good to be back and I am sure we will achieve great things this season! Forza nerazzuri 🖤💙
Inter
Didn’t watch this as much as the Spurs match but, it was still a pretty decent game with some great goals too. Esposito, I know a club in need of a striker. 🤔
