Could there be a better advertisement for Italian football this season? The first half had some solid end-to-end play but both goalkeepers were really solid at their posts, the best chance came right at the end when Dimarco's free kick rattled against the post. The second half: WOW! Napoli got a solid goal after deciding the momentum early in the game, then a howler from Inter's backline not letting it get out of play helped Rasmus Hojland get a great goal to double the lead. Inter could not be written off too early though, Lautaro Martinez got one back to set the game truly alive. Both teams threw respective kitchen sinks at one another until Marcus Thuram got off of the bench to level the tie. It still felt like it could either way right up to the end when Lautaro got one more which would ultimately be the winner. Inter are probably the favourites to retain their Scudetto. They've made some decent signings, and some are warming up to the Italian game more than others. Though ultimately their depth could rally them into being an unexpected pick for a Champions League frontrunner. Napoli looked strong, but a second defeat caused by trying to play safe under Allegri has me worried about their season, especially with many of their contemporaries becoming rejuvinated.

Incredible game to watch, insane how Napoli threw this completely away as well. Great comeback from Inter. But this game couldve gone every way, so many chances and great saves and huge misses. What a game.

That was my first ever Inter match, and for sure the best football match i’ve ever been to. Despite having mid first half. Such a rollercoaster, from being down to making such comeback. Best 45 minutes i will probably witness. I need to go here some day again. FORZA INTER!!!

Unbelievable game of football and unreal to experience it live in the San Siro. Atmosphere was spine tingling at points. Lautaro illustrated that he is actually a functioning footballer. What a night.
